Mike has over 16 years experience at both commissioning and provider perspective. He has worked in public health development, through employment with the local authority, primary care, the third sector and the private sector.

Throughout this period Mike has been responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating noncommunicable disease prevention programmes and partnerships, specialising in evidence based policy and environmental approaches to reducing major lifestyle risk factors and has a strong record in planning and delivery of behaviour change interventions.

Mike has significant experience in managing diverse project teams and partnerships supported by his Prince2 Practitioner status.

Mike is currently working on:

• The delivery of Health Impact Audits for sports stadia across Europe, using HM Partnerships and Haig Associates unique bespoke software
• Development of Brief intervention E-learning Training Programme
• The Evaluation of EuroHeart2
• Developing a regional toolkit to support commissioning of lifestyle interventions for NHS NW
• Developing and coordinating a CVD prevention partnership for the Borough of Wigan
• Developing a CVD Commissioning Framework for Wigan Health and Wellbeing Partnership

Julie has nine years experience working in the public health sector. Julie has held a variety of roles in the area of community health and project management.

She has been responsible for developing and delivering award winning interventions focussing on providing and evaluating public health related training programmes with strong links to Chester and Liverpool Universities. Julie recently completed her post graduate diploma in Public Health Nutrition at the University of Chester.

Julie is currently working on:

• The North West Public Health Leadership Programme Evaluation
• The Liverpool Nursery Nutrition Project – Phase 3
• Developing a package to support Nutrition in Sheltered Housing and Care Home Settings

Gemma has over six years experience working within the public health sector. She has been a Project Manager for HM Partnerships for three years and prior to that worked for the charity Heart of Mersey in a variety of different capacities, utilising her strong organisational skills working on a number of public health projects.

Since joining HM Partnerships, she has developed a diverse mix of project management skills and is a qualified Prince2 Practitioner.

Gemma’s key work areas include feasibility studies, options appraisals, data capture and analysis, partnership development, research, and delivery of social marketing campaigns.

• Supporting the marketing of LFC Action for Health Programme
• Managing the Stakeholder Insight for the European Health 25 programme
